“Achoo!” Benji sneezed so loud he dropped his net.

“Look out!” Dad called, as a thick pink liquid oozed out in front of our feet. “Quick! Both of you—run!”

BUT it was too late. The liquid around our feet had already begun to fizz and bubble. Then—

POP! A dozen green shoots exploded out of the puddle and shot upward before bursting open into huge roses. The strong perfume from them made my eyes water.

“It’s a fast-growing flower spell,” Dad said, as more shoots appeared in the puddle.

“Achoo!” Benji sneezed, and a tiny rosebud shot out of his nose. “Oh, wow, did you see that?”

“Magic always makes Benji sneeze,” I explained to Dad.

Benji sneezed again, and more roses shot out of his nose. His last sneeze was so loud, it blew the orb straight into my net!

“Oh, good catch,” Dad said. “And now we’d better summon up something to help with the flowers.”

A flash of lightning lit up the room and a large goat appeared. It lunged toward the roses and began chomping.
